1987年発表。86年9月のアメリカから始まった「ザ・ブリッジ・ツアー」のファイナルを飾る、旧ソ連でのコンサートの模様を収録した、81年『ソングズ・イン・ジ・アティック』に続くビリー2作目のライブアルバム。1987年7月26日・27日・29日にモスクワ、8月2日・3日・5日にレニングラードで公演を行う。「Honesty / オネスティ」、「The Times They Are A Changin'/ 時代は変る」（ボブ・ディランのカヴァー）は、同国のテレビ番組やラジオ番組に出演した時のスタジオライブ音源。「Odoya / オドイア」は、トリビシでの追加公演時に同地の合唱団ジュルナリストと共にレコーディングされたグルジア民謡。ビートルズの「Back In The U.S.S.R. / バック・イン・ザU.S.S.R.」も収録。

本作はマディソン・スクエア・ガーデン公演からの音源を収録したライブ・アルバムだが、収録音源の公演日は明記されていない。ジャケットには30曲入りと記載されているが、実際には2曲の隠しトラックが収録されている。ビリーが2006年1月から4月にかけて行った12回のマディソン・スクエア・ガーデン公演は、全公演ソールド・アウトとなり、それまでブルース・スプリングスティーンが持っていた同会場での10日間ソールド・アウトという記録を破った。12回公演の日程は、1月が23日と26日、2月が2日・9日・11日・16日・25日・27日、3月が2日と4日、4月が19日と24日。

2008年7月16日と18日に、解体前のニューヨークのシェイ・スタジアムで行われた2回のコンサートの模様を収録したCDとDVDのコンピレーションアルバム。
ゲストにはトニー・ベネット、ドン・ヘンリー、ジョン・メイヤー、ジョン・メレンキャンプ、スティーブン・タイラー、ロジャー・ダルトリー、ガース・ブルックス、ポール・マッカートニーなどが参加した。コンサートは2010年のドキュメンタリー映画『ラスト・プレイ・アット・シェイ』で取り上げられ、2011年3月8日に発売された。映画は1960年代にビリーが参加していたグループ「ザ・ハッスルズ」と「アッティラ」の元バンドメイトであるジョン・スモールによって制作された。

1985年発表のビリー初のベスト。1973年の『ピアノ・マン』から1983年の『イノセント・マン』までのアルバムから選曲した23曲プラス新曲「You're Only Human / オンリー・ヒューマン」、「The Night Is Still Young / ナイト・イズ・スティル・ヤング」を収録。アメリカでは歴代4位となる2,300万枚を売り上げ、日本ではオリコン洋楽アルバムチャートで1985年8月5日付から13週連続1位を獲得した。「She's Got a Way」は1981年のライブ・アルバム『Songs in the Attic 』からのライブ・ヴァージョンが収録されている。
このアルバムは1985盤と1998リマスター盤が存在する。1985年盤のLPとカセットは全21曲収録。「Captain Jack」「The Entertainer」「Scenes from an Italian Restaurant 」「She's Got a Way」はCDのみに収録。日本盤とUS初回盤のみ「Honesty 」が収録され、海外盤は「Honesty 」の代わりに「Don’t ask me why 」が収録されている。その後US盤も「Don’t ask me why 」に差し替えとなっているが、日本盤には引き続き「Honesty 」が収録されている。1985年盤の「Say Goodbye to Hollywood / さよならハリウッド」はライブバージョンが収録されていたが、1989年盤は『ニューヨーク物語』からのスタジオ・ヴァージョンに差し替えられた。
